Privacy Policy — GPS Speedometer
This policy explains how GPS Speedometer ("the app") handles information. In short: the app does not collect, share or upload any data; everything stays on your device.
1. Data processed
Location (GPS)
To work, the app requests the
precise location permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION).
This permission is used only to read the device position while
the app is open, to compute speed and travelled distance.
- Location data is processed on the device only.
- It is not collected, not uploaded to any server and not shared with any third party.
App data
The total odometer value you set (e.g., your vehicle's mileage) and the trip counters are stored locally in the app's database (Room, inside the app's private storage). This data never leaves the device.
2. Permissions

3. Third-party services
The app includes no advertising, analytics, third-party SDKs or any data-collecting service. No account is required to use it.
4. Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
5. Deleting your data
You can delete all app data at any time:
- Android: Settings → Apps → GPS Speedometer → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling the app.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this document will be updated with the new date.
